Product Description

Alloy X-750 is a settable hardened alloy that is highly resistant to chemical corrosion and oxidation and is subjected to a suitable heat treatment with high vulcan cracking strength and very low creep in high stress environments up to 816 ° C Variable rate.
The material can be used for steam turbine, jet engine, nuclear power plant equipment, structural parts and heat treatment fixture, forming tooling, extrusion die.

Heat treatment
In all heat treatment conditions, X-750 alloy is austenite. Depending on the application, the X-750 has a variety of heat treatments. Commonly used as follows:
1. To obtain the maximum creep strength, relaxation strength and cracking strength at temperatures above 593 ° C
Solid solution at 1149 ° C for 2-4 hours, air cooled
In the middle of 843 ° C aging, 24 hours, air cooling
At 704 ° C final aging, 20 hours, air cooling
2. To obtain the highest yield strength and tensile strength at room temperature
At 885 ° C stress balance, 24 hours, air cooling
At 704 ° C precipitation aging, 20 hours, air cooling

Processing performance
The furnace temperature should be 1149 ° C and the optimum starting temperature is 1066-1093 ° C. If the application temperature is below 593 ° C, heat treatment and cold working can be combined to achieve higher strength, both of which are superimposed.
Machine plus
X-750 alloy processing hardened quickly, than the standard ferrite alloys and martensitic alloys are more difficult to process. The stress balance state of the material is often used in machine applications. Due to the large cutting force, the machine must have sufficient force, with a slower cutting speed. The tool must have a good smooth finish, sharp and rigid. In order to avoid work hardening, need to maintain a continuous smooth cutting operation, so equipment recoil need to be reduced to a minimum, the tool and the workpiece need to have sufficient support.
 
welding
The stress-balanced state of the X-750 can be soldered. After welding, heat treatment at 885 ° C, then solution treatment and aging hardening. If the process route is not feasible, need to use solid solution materials for welding, welding and then do the aging hardening. In 885 ° C for a short period of stress release, do not do it. Welding the heated area will soften the material, so the solder joint should be located in the lower creep area.
