Material description

At the same time, strict quality control during the manufacturing process also ensures a balanced physical and mechanical performance, more suitable for deep drawing, stamping and various types of cutting.
Material use
Kovar® is used for vacuum sealing of hard glass and ceramics. Widely used in tubes, microprocessors, transistors and diodes. In the integrated circuit, it is used for flat integrated circuits and dual in-line package.
 
Sealed preparation
All Kovar-made parts should be degassed and annealed in a humidified atmosphere. Hydrogen is injected into the water at room temperature, through the blister to reach the wet, must be careful to prevent surface carbonation. The heat treatment furnace should have a cooling chamber that provides the same atmosphere. The heat treatment was carried out at a temperature of 1540/2010 ° F (838/1099 ° C), starting from the lowest temperature, rising to the highest temperature in 20 minutes, then moving the parts to the cooling zone, cooling to 570 ° F (299 ° C ) After the removal.
