Product Description

350 is a stainless steel with chromium nickel molybdenum added and can be hardened by martensitic transformation and precipitation hardening. Depending on the heat treatment, the 350 may be an austenitic structure with the best molding properties; it can also be a martensitic structure with martensitic stainless steel strength. The alloy usually contains 5-10% delta ferrite. Its corrosion resistance is close to other chrome-nickel austenitic stainless steels.
350 alloy can be used for turbine compressor parts, such as blades, brake discs, rotors, shafts, etc. at room temperature and medium temperature need to withstand high strength parts.

350 alloy corrosion resistance is better than other hardenable martensitic stainless steel. The stress corrosion resistance of the 350 alloy was increased by heating to 1010-1066 ° C, rapidly cooling to room temperature, cooling for 3 hours at -73 ° C and then reheating to 927-954 ° C for 90 minutes / Inch thickness, quickly cooled to room temperature, cooled at -73 ° C for 3 hours, and then tempered at 538 ° C for 3 hours.
In order to achieve the best corrosion resistance, the surface of the material shall not be skin, can not have lubricants, foreign objects and so on. After processing, parts should be thoroughly cleaned and passivated.
