Glass kiln is mainly divided into flame heating furnace and electric melting furnace. Electric melting furnace is mainly divided into three types: full electric furnace, feed channel electric melting furnace and compound furnace. With the further improvement of national energy conservation and environmental protection requirements, electric melting furnace has begun to slowly replace flame heating furnace.
The domestic molybdenum electrode melting kiln is mainly divided into the following two systems according to the types of melting glass products: soda-calcium glass and borosilicate glass, various specifications of plate and rod electrode can meet the needs of various melting kiln, the use of this electrode has less investment, energy saving and high yield, resistance to glass liquid corrosion, electric load and current density uniform, the furnace temperature uniform, stable operation and other advantages.
Introduction of Materials.
Molybdenum electrode made of pure molybdenum powder by powder metallurgy process has the characteristics of high melting point, high temperature strength and hardness, good thermal shock resistance, good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance. Molybdenum also has a good process suitable performance, easy to pressure processing and mechanical processing. Molybdenum is resistant to high temperature, anti melting glass corrosion, corrosion products do not pollute glass, so it has been widely used in the production of glass electromelting.
Molybdenum zirconium electrode: In view of electrode deformation caused by gravity and erosion of glass liquid at high temperature, we can provide a special electrode strengthening scheme. Adding a small amount of zirconia to molybdenum can greatly enhance the sag resistance and high temperature creep resistance of the electrode.
Coated electrode: A special silicide is coated on the surface of the molybdenum electrode to isolate the contact between the air and the electrode, thus increasing the service life of the electrode in an oxidizing atmosphere.
