Because the alloy has the characteristics of rapid cold hardening, in the processing of complex parts need to be intermittent annealing process. 3. Heat treatment
Forged 188 alloy is usually supplied in a solid state. The conventional heat treatment method is 1175 ° C +/- 14 ° C solution treatment and then quickly cooled or water quenched to achieve optimum performance. Annealing at temperatures below the solution temperature results in some carbide precipitation, which affects the properties of the 188 alloy.
