3.0525 aluminum is a 3000-series aluminum alloy: the main alloying addition is manganese, and it is formulated for primary forming into wrought products. 3.0525 is the Aluminum Association (AA) designation for this material. In European standards, it will be given as EN AW-3005. Almn1mg0.5 is the UNS number. Additionally, the EN chemical designation is 3.0525. And the AFNOR (French) designation is A-MG0,5.
Aluminium / aluminum 3000 series alloys provide a wide range of mechanical properties coupled with excellent corrosion resistance, weldability and formability.
Aluminium/aluminum 3.0525 alloy is a non-heat treatable wrought alloy with manganese as the key alloying element.
