C17500 belongs to the American Standard of Beryllium cobalt copper, and the standard is ASTM B441-2004 Standard Specification for rods and bars of copper cobalt beryllium, copper nickel beryllium, and copper nickel lead beryllium.
C17500 beryllium cobalt copper applications: medium strength high conductive parts, such as fuse fasteners, springs, connectors, resistance spot welding head, seam welding roller, die casting die, plastic forming die, etc.
Application of C17500 beryllium cobalt copper in mold manufacturing:
Beryllium cobalt copper C17500 is widely used in the manufacture of inserts and cores in injection molds or steel molds. When used as an insert in plastic molds, C17500 beryllium cobalt copper effectively reduces the temperature of the heat concentration zone, simplifying or eliminating the cooling channel design. The excellent thermal conductivity of beryllium cobalt-copper is approximately 3 to 4 times better than that of die steel. This property ensures rapid and uniform cooling of plastic products, reduces deformation, imprecise shape details, and similar defects, and in most cases significantly shorens the production cycle of products. Therefore, beryllium cobalt copper C17500 can be widely used in mold, mold core, insert parts requiring rapid and uniform cooling, especially for high heat conductivity, corrosion resistance and good polishing properties.
1) Blow molding die: clamping broken parts, stiffening rings and handle inserts. 4) Injection mold: mold, mold core, corner of the TV shell insert
C17500 Beryllium cobalt copper performance parameters:
Resistance welding electrode: The mechanical properties of beryllium cobalt copper are higher than those of chrome-copper and chrome-zirconium copper, but the conductivity and thermal conductivity are lower than those of chrome-copper and chrome-zirconium copper. When used as welding and seam welding electrodes, beryllium cobalt copper is used to weld stainless steel, superalloy and other materials with characteristic and high strength at high temperature, because the welding of such materials requires higher electrode pressure and requires higher strength of electrode materials. These materials can be used as electrodes, force electrode grips, shafts and arms for spot welding stainless steel and heat resistant steel, as well as as shaft and bushing for seam welding stainless steel and heat resistant steel electrode, die, or insert electrode.
