Smelting process:
1, smelting
6082 alloy is characterized by Mn, Mn is a refractory metal, melting temperature should be controlled at 740-760 ºC. 2, purification and casting
Melt into the furnace after the furnace, with nitrogen and refining agent for powder, jet refining, refining temperature 735-745 ºC, time 15 minutes, after the end of refining for 30 minutes. Through this process degassing, deslagging, purifying the melt.
There are two filter devices between the mold and the furnace. There are foam ceramic filter plate (30PPI) in the furnace, and then filtered with 14 mesh glass fiber cloth before casting. The oxide and slag in the melt are filtered.
6082 alloy aluminum casting temperature is high (compared to 6063 aluminum normal process), casting speed is low, water flow is too large, the above process to be strictly controlled, can not be out of range, or easily lead to casting failure.
