Soft Annealing
Heat to 710-750ºC, cool slowly. This will produce a maximum Brinell hardness of 210.
Hardening
Harden from a temperature of 870-900ºC, followed by oil quenching. Hardness after quenching is 63 HRC.
Tempering
Tempering temperature: 130-300ºC.
Forging
Hot forming temperature: 1050-850ºC.
