Nictronic50 is an austenitic stainless steel. Its corrosion resistance and strength are the same price of commercial materials can not be compared. Nitronic50 corrosion resistance is better than 316,316 L, 317, 317L and other materials, and room temperature yield strength of up to twice these grades. High strength Nitronic50 (HS) yield strength up to 316 times the 316 stainless steel. In addition, Nictronic50 in the heating environment and low temperature environment have good mechanical properties. Unlike most austenitic stainless steels, the Nitronic50 is not magnetized when cold worked or cooled to zero temperature.
Application
For applications of 316,316L,317 and 317L, the Nitronic 50 is a great advantage. The material is widely used in petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, fertilizer, nuclear fuel recovery, paper making, textile, food processing and maritime industries. Nictronic50 is used to manufacture pumps, valves, fittings, fasteners, cables, screens, wire mesh cloth, ship hardware, axle, pump shaft, heat exchanger parts, springs, photographic equipment, etc. both need corrosion and need high Zero of intensity

Corrosion resistance
Corrosion resistance
In most media, Nitronic50 corrosion resistance due to 316,316 L, 317 and 317L. In most applications, the 1086 ° annealed Nitronic 50 provides sufficient corrosion resistance while having higher strength. In the highly corrosive environment, or materials need to be welded, should be used 1121 ° C annealing state. Nitronic50 high-strength state (HS) is often used in the manufacture of shaft and nut parts, but corrosion resistance in general.
Annealing temperature
The Nitronic 50 can be supplied with an energized state of 1066 ° C to 1121 ° C. For most applications, should use 1066 ° C annealing state, higher mechanical properties, and good corrosion resistance. If a welded part is used in a strong corrosive environment, a 1121 ° C anneal should be selected.
As with other austenitic stainless steels, Nitronic50 requires rapid cooling after annealing. The cold forming process requires annealing at intervals of 1066 ° C.
Processing performance
Although the Nitronic 50 has a higher performance than the 300 series stainless steel, they can be processed with the same equipment and processes.
forging
The Nitronic 50's forging process is similar to 316 stainless steel, but requires more energy, and the forging temperature range is 1177 ° C to 1232 ° C.
welding
The Nitronic 50 is suitable for all conventional austenitic stainless steels for conventional welding methods without preheating or post-weld annealing.
