310S (old 0Cr25Ni20/ new 06Cr25Ni20) is an austenitic chrome-nickel stainless steel with excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. Due to a higher percentage of chromium and nickel, 310S has much better creep strength and can operate continuously at high temperatures with excellent high temperature resistance.

310S stainless steel is austenitic chrome-nickel stainless steel with excellent oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, much better creep strength due to a higher percentage of chromium and nickel, continuous operation at high temperatures, with good high temperature resistance. Due to the high content of nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr), it has good oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance and high temperature resistance. The high temperature resistant steel pipe is specially used for manufacturing electric furnace tubes and other occasions. After increasing the content of carbon in Austenitic stainless steel, the strength is improved due to its solid solution strengthening effect. The chemical composition of Austenitic stainless steel is based on chromium and nickel with molybdenum, tungsten, niobium, titanium and other elements. Due to its face-centered cubic structure, it has high strength and creep strength at high temperature. Melting point 1470ºC, 800ºC began to soften, the allowable stress continued to decrease.
