Product Description

625 alloy is a corrosion-resistant, antioxidant nickel-based alloy. Heat treatment
 
There are three basic heat treatment methods for 625 alloys:
1. High solution annealing: 1093-1204 ° C, air quenching or faster quenching
2. Low solution annealing: 927-1038 ° C, air quenching or faster quenching
3. Stress release: 899 ° C, air quenching
 
The heat treatment time depends on the number of materials and the cross-sectional thickness. The heat treatment time of the methods 1 and 2 is usually 1 / 2-1 hours, and the heat treatment time of the method 3 is 1 to 4 hours.
 
When the operating temperature is above 816 ° C and the creep resistance is more important, the material is usually treated with Method 1. Steel will also use high solid solution annealing to soften the material, easy to cold or cold pull.
 
Method 2 is the most commonly used heat treatment method, and 1038 ° C can optimize the overall properties of tensile strength and cracking strength. While the low temperature environment of ductility and toughness is also very good.
 
When the working temperature is below 649 ° C, it is recommended to use the method 3 for heat treatment when the fatigue resistance, tensile strength, yield strength and hardness of the material are high. The treated material has very good ductility and toughness in low temperature environments. If you need dense grain, so that the material in the 816 ° C below the environment also has a good fatigue strength, tensile strength and yield strength, and sometimes can also use the method 3.

Thermal processing
The highest furnace temperature for thermal processing is 1149 ° C. CAUTION Avoiding frictional heat buildup causes overheating and exceeds 1149 ° C. 625 alloy below 1010 ° C will become more rigid. If below this temperature, the workpiece needs to be reheated. It is recommended to carry out uniform forging to avoid the generation of mixed crystal structure. Finished product forging rate of about 15-20%.
 
Cold working
625 alloy for a variety of standard cold processing methods. After cold working, the workpiece becomes rigid and can be restored by annealing.
